I feel like there were a lot of missed opportunities with Lego last time as well. (That was probably the slightly more realistic part of this post, the next part is just wishful thinking) They could make the Dunharrow Ghosts look really cool and they could make some figures they didn't make back then, like Sauron and the Morannon Orcs. I'd love to see how different it would be today.Īnd Lego has changed so much since they last did Lord of the Rings think about the new pieces they could use. And Helms Deep is probably one of the coolest Lego sets to this day, so they could make a new one, for like £100-£120.

Or one of the smaller starter pack things with like 2 Rangers of Gondor and 2 soldiers of Gondor and a turret. Like a box of Uruk-Hai and a ballista and a couple rohirrim riders. I think they could do something like Star Wars with Battle packs. I'm not really sure why they brought back the Harry Potter theme, but a similar thing would be really cool.

So, I feel like this has been talked about before, but how cool would it be to get new Lord of the Rings sets? I feel like with the release of a new LOTR series on Amazon and the demand they could really profit from new sets.
